This past Sunday we lost an remarkable man and an amazing young lady along side others, this man and young lady was Kobe Bryant and Gigi Bryant. The name of my blog is “Mamba 4 life”. I’m not writing this to mourn the lost but to celebrate the life and greatness of both Kobe and Gigi. Growing up I watched the men in my family always talk about Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade. Hearing their names in my everyday household really opened my eyes to basketball. I was so intrigued by these men. Kobe was my mother’s favorite, so the death of Kobe really hit deep but what really got me was that Kobe died doing what he loved and that was being a “girl dad” I’ll go deeper in the phase during my podcast. The death of Kobe and his daughter really showed how amazing he was especially as a dad. Kobe has the mamba mentality and passed it to his daughter. That Sunday I realized how fragile life really is and what you leave on this earth will remain your legacy forever. If there’s anything we can take from it would be do what you love, set examples for others around you and live each day like your last. Let’s remember the names of everyone that passed away from this tragedy. Long live the legacy of Kobe and Gigi Bryant. Mamba 4 life
